The residents of Longmont won't be surprised to learn that Longmont was named one of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in the United States! For this year's installment of Best Places to Live as designated by Money Magazine, the goal was to find small livable cities that had the best possible blend of good jobs, low crime, quality schools, plenty of open space, rational home prices and lots to do.
This year's number one city is our neighbor Fort Collins. Longmont was number 61 on the list.
